Differences are good. Even more than that, they’re worth celebrating. I think it’s a little bit easier to say and do that when things are going well or well enough for us and those we love. But true character shines through the greyer patches. When differences are hard to understand in the less-than-sunny moments of life, do we make a quick judgment, point our finger, and walk on the other side of the street? Or do we truly seek to understand. Do we care deeply. Do we love? I think one of the biggest gifts we can give others is loving through the confusion, empowering them to find their own as-unique-as-each-snowflake way through the haze, and always alwaysss… believing the best.
How cute is this skirt you guys? I love the summery floral print. Plus the pleats give it that element of prep and sophistication. I played around with prints a little bit in pairing it with the gingham heels and kept the rest of my pieces simple and feminine.
