Officewear in Blue

So this is what you call an unconventional suit. It would take a brave soul to venture from classic black, grey, tan basic suits into the world of blueberry woman. But I know you’re out there! And you guys, this monochromatic train is picking up everything in its path so make sure you don’t miss out. Such a fun, slick little trend. I popped in the jade purse and emerald necklace to add a little color differential. On a side note, each item in this “3-piece-suit” was bought from a different place and has a different fabric/texture. It’s ok to mix and match, in fact, I think it makes things more interesting than a standard suit.

American Elegance Brunch

What better to do on a Saturday than get together with some of your stylish friends in the city and brunch? Lots of laughs and snarky conversation was involved. It was overall a total blast, as I would have expected from an afternoon with these fine folk. Plus, I came out on the other end knowing that Nicollet Island Inn has some of the best eggs benedict around and that Patrick and I need to plan a weekend getaway there like right away.

Sugar, spice, and everything lace

Sugar, spice, and everything LACE. That’s what Ruby Girl is made of. Oh and bows, and sparkle, and anything blush-toned. So naturally, this gorgeous lace peplum top from Lily & Violet and the black bow belt were total must-have’s. The jewelry I found at Kisa Collections made for the perfect touches of frosting. And this little get-up is ready for the office, a day date, or a Saturday night soiree.

A Dress in Bloom

I love finding a boutique that carries unique clothing, you know, those one-of-a-kind pieces that no one else will have. When I saw this dress at one of Minneapolis’ newest shops, Kisa Boutique, it was like ok… you are obviously coming home with me. From the print, to the silhouette, to the brooch detail, it’s divinely designed. I styled it with a few of my favorite spring pastel hues, letting the colors within the print pop. There are so many other fun pieces like this one from great brands at Kisa! You can come find out for yourself anytime really but especially this Thursday, March 27 because Kisa is having a party to welcome spring. I’ll be styling mannequins and will also be available for personal styling at the event, to help you put together the perfect outfits for the warmer months. You can shop the new arrivals, mingle with other local fashion girls like you including lots of bloggers and Instagrammers, sip drinks, munch on small bites, and snap a shot or two in the photo booth. Eeee! It’s going to be such fun. Check out a few more deets below:
I so hope to see you there!

Oh my goodness stop the world. The glory days of Minnesota weather are almost upon us. We just have to wait til a couple feet of snow melt but still. There is hope, for heaven’s sake!
