Local Giveaway :: dpHUE

dpHUE is right up my alley. I went to visit dpHUE a few weeks ago and discovered a brand new & innovative way to color my hair. This coming from someone who’s had my hair dyed any way and every way possible. Think utmost quality product and salon-type results at home, on your own time, at a much lower cost. I got a color consult with a beauty professional, after which they gave me a custom color kit that I took home with me. They walked me through every step of the way and left super clear instructions. When I got home, the process was a piece of cake. And the color turned out beautifully!
Check out the video below of my visit to dpHUE!

3 lucky locals will win a dpHUE Custom Color Kit ($38-45 value). This can be redeemed within 3 months at one of their two stores:

4944 France Ave S

Edina, MN 55410

7808 Main St

Maple Grove, MN 55369

In the meantime, any one of you can get 10% off your dpHUE purchase by mentioning Ruby Girl.

Enter to win below!

*dpHUE uses the least hash chemicals they can in order to still achieve permanent hair color. Because of this, they can’t take someone from brunette to blonde, they stay within 1 level lighter and darker than your natural color.

Oh my goodness I want to marry these red glasses! They are way too much fun. Talk about a pop of color. Right on your face. Go bold or go home, I always say. So at this precise moment, a shamelessly gorgeous bouquet of tulips is catching my eye. Such pretty little darlings that I like to keep around as much as possible. Especially when Spring is being such a tease.

Stripe my Fancy

This dress is from Fashionologie, a new women’s clothing and accessories boutique in Edina. I enjoyed checking it out. There were so many bright and springy pieces there. Including this ombre shirt that was absolute perfection, a neon orange paisley blouse, and a faux cowskin clutch I simply swooned over. Locals, have you been there yet? Do check it out, and let me know what you think!

Color, color, color! It’s what spring is all about. While waiting for my pedicure to dry, I told the lady next to me that I loved her bright green scarf and how she paired it with a whole mess of pearls underneath. Her eyes lit up and she told me that she wanted to go out and just load up on bright colors. See? Happiness increases even from thinking about wearing more brights 🙂 Similarly to what we talked about with pastels, brights can be mixed and matched too, as long as the color saturation level is similar. Brights are basically pastels with a higher saturation level. Let’s go bold people, and bring out the brights!
